Tune In Turn On Burn Out
Sep. 16th, 2003 12:17 pmSaturday I went to Liquid for the hair cutting, I caught Chris O'Brian on his way out. There is just a silly amount of people we know going there. As he was sitting me down, my guy Jason told me he'd just cut Cris' hair last week, and he promised me that he wouldn't give us the exact same cut cuz he knew we hang out with the same people. I'm rather curious about Cris' cut, I can't remember ever seeing him without the floppy Asian style, you know that intelligent, approachable haircut that says "Why yes, I am possessed of a familiarity with anime and sushi, my DNA is encoded with a facility for computers and videogames." Anyway, Jason must have been in a fabulous mood because he spent an extra twenty minutes on me, spiking and gunking and molding the back up high into messy spiky volume and the front out and down into my eyes with sharp straight angles. I have never looked more rockstar.
I was walking to my car when I realized that I didn't have Cris' haircut...I had Channing's haircut. With my courier bag and Sigur Ros teeshirt I felt like I should be handing out photocopied zines outside Berklee.
( But no, I took my bad indie rock self to the Import Xpressions car show at the Bayside Expo Center. )
