Cris and I are at waiting for Eddie Izzard to hit the stage and our conversation is going something like

Cris: So the Marilyn Manson show is just up the street at the Orpheum…
Me: Yeah, Marilyn Manson...huh.
Cris: Yeah...
Me: Dude! Are you going to see Stiglitz at Harvard?
Cris: I really want to but I have to work. What the hell are they thinking starting so early?!?
Me: Man that sucks! I might take the afternoon off to see him. Have you read his new book?

I try not to see it as losing Goth points, I like to think of it as gaining...um...something else.
