Heartthrob

The Tuesday night thing at Middlesex Lounge is so damn fun. The music swings from electro funky to techno hi-NRG, the crowd is real diverse, drinks are tasty and reasonably priced and there’s no cover, all combines to make a no-attitude unpretentious pure good time. Everybody’s drinking these Red Stripe big bottles, looks like oversized brown capsule shaped happy-pills everyone’s sucking on. It gets pretty crowded so there’s not much room to dance like we usually do; you know - interesting-like, wavy arms and weirdo feets and all. What you end up doing is dancing in one small space, bopping and bouncing along with everyone else, and everyone kinda does the same thing cuz that’s the only way to move with all the people packed in, and it feels like a big hive-mind, everyone’s plugged into this communal sense of Groove. It is completely ridiculous and so fun.
