Silence Of The Lambs: The Musical

Has anyone attempted to make a Silence Of The Lambs Musical yet? It seems so well suited for adaptation, the opening number would be Clarice Starling running through the forest singing about being an FBI agent, it’s the classic “I Want” song intro to every classic Disney film. Her screen time with Hannibal Lecter are perfect sparring duets with as much attraction/repulsion dynamic as the characters in Beauty & The Beast, Aladdin, and any number of other great musicals. The songs really do write themselves - you can almost hear the seductive, intriguing melody of “Quid Pro Quo, Clarice”, the jaunty “Put The Lotion In The Basket”, and crowd-pleasing “Fthfthfthfthfth”.
