On NPR they were talking about the economy and the crisis in the worldwide credit system, and they used the most brilliant analogy I’ve ever heard: “Credit is the lubricant in the economy”. That is such the awesome comparison, because everyone knows what it’s like when you run out of lube.

When I consider the mistake that is this bailout package, I am also reminded how the wrong lube can be like glue. :(

And maybe we could describe the past decade’s housing bubble as the Viagra overdose of the real estate market. “If your housing market stays elevated for more than 7 years, see your doctor.”
