Are you happy?
Jun. 12th, 2003 07:41 amA Spitcurl query.
A wise man once said "There are three things: a hot job, a hot lover, and a hot apartment. You can only ever have two at the same time."
My happiness meter fluctuates from moment to moment, and there have been drastic highs and lows over the past year, but, averaged over the long view, my net happiness has been rising steadily, and the trend should continue for the foreseeable future.
At the present time, the major indicators are strong: the Hot Job index is quite satisfactory, though the present inability to forecast that area for any appreciable length of time must temper that measurement to a certain degree. The Hot Lover index is remains very high, if not increasing to even higher levels unforeseen in the past fiscal quarter. The Hot Apartment rating remains positive, though there is surely room for improvement in the Annoying Neighbor metric.
The major indicators lead me to believe that the overall state of my happiness remains strong, and we can expect varying but significant amounts of positive growth in the near, medium and long term.
The above press release contains certain forward-looking statements, and past performance is not a guarantee of future results. With those caveats in mind I find it reasonable to state that I'm pretty freakin happy.
