Hello mother, hello father.

My parents are coming to town for a few days. I'm having this little internal debate about parent-proofing the house. What should I hide, what shouldn't I bother with? The porn, definitely. The arsty/sexy framed photos of Tonya and Danni, those are probably ok to leave up. The shelf of Playboys? Hmm. Part of me thinks I should hide them, another part of me thinks that would be lame. I'll probably do a sweep for Fantasy Factory and Sin flyers. Hide the cigarettes, by god!

This will be the first time they've seen my little home, I feel a sort of displaced weirdness; I wonder how they feel to see their little boy's all grow'd up now, he's got a house and a car and a job and everything! They probably feel about the same way I do: it feels just about right.
